Ga West Municipal Hospital 2022 Christmas Carols & Star Employee Awards

O give thanks unto the LORD, for he is good. For his mercy endureth for ever.

On 21st of December which marked the carols services at the ga west municipal hospital, the facility held it annual carols service which was chaired by the medical superintendent Dr. Eric Sarpong-Ntiamoah. The event which kick started with an opening prayer from Reverend Gilbert Gakpe, saw some wowing performances from the choir of the facility. The event was hosted by Mrs. Daphne Antwi Boateng and Mr. Samuel Asiamah Takyi, did a marvelous job at handling the proceedings. A welcome address was delivered by the facility’s administrator Mr. Bernard F. Polley.

an opening song Ding Dong, Merrily On High was sung by the entire congregation which led to the first and second lessons which were read by DDNS Diana Ofori Larbi and Mr. Isaac Fosu.
An inspiring sermon was delivered by Rev. Emmanuel Atta-Mensah to the entire congregation. The event had a full house representation in terms of attendance from both staff members and national service persons who rallied and danced to the joyous hymns by the choir.

As at 3:00pm, the event moved to phase two which was the star employees awards. Dr. Eric Sarpong-Ntiamoah was invited to announce the winners. First, he congratulated all nominees who won the star employee of the various months and encouraged others to do well to be nominated in the forthcoming years.

Mr. Alex Antwi from the Maintenance Department was awarded the third position for his hard work and commitment and devotion. Ms. Juliet Opare Budu from the maternity ward (OBS&GYNAE) came second of which she was presented with a package. For the overall star Employee of the year was awarded to Ms. Sophia Ankomah from the Scan department. She was applauded for her hard work and devotion. She was presented with a package and was also commended for her devotion.

As the awards came to an end, Rev. Emmanuel Atta-Mensah Was invited to give a closing prayers to bring the event to an end.
